A challenge for Private Non-profit school in not being informed about Professional Development. There are funds available for them. We need to go to these schools and offer the ESC services.
The districts are not supporting private/nonprofit although they should.
*21st of March guidelines will be given about how to support Title 3 Schools. WooHoo!!!

As an ESC we need to encourage them it come us, funding comes from the ISD. The professional development can be denied based on the needs assessment. If the ISD provides equitable Professional Development, then the private/nonprofit will be able to attend.

We watched a TETN on the format about how ESC were going to gather information on how we will look and change and interpret the rules.
*TEA will develop a plan or template for the ESCs to hold these focus groups.
*Focus groups will be set up, according to what needs are.
Updates:
Project Share: Epsilen will be on the 17th of March 8:00-11:30. Lab A or Lab B.
FYI: ESC will be the link between the state and the district.
*Majority of the PD will have an on-line component on the Project Share platforms.
*Stipends so far are face to face.
*ESC will be troubleshooting until comfort level arises.

*Developers are setting up the on-line components so far. ESC role be to introduce teachers to Project Share.
*It will start with a gradual release model, first start with face to face, and the on-line component. Then the module will be on-line.
CSCOPE Expectations:
*Everyone needs to KNOW CScope. All its components and content areas. Majority of districts have purchased CScope.
*Needs assessment will guide the PD for the ESC to help establish a foundational, in depth knowledge about what CScope encompasses.
Ideas:
To cover CScope:
-Create a plan to cover all districts in terms of CScope users, AU, or any other issues.
TEA Summer:
Contacts pending, may have lost some trainers to replace those who are going with the districts.

Awaiting the final confirmations and set up the schedule.
